Today I’m thankful for my blog.
I am thankful I have such a fun and creative outlet for my writing skills. I love to write. Since I was in 7th grade I wanted to be a writer. I graduated college with a Bachelors in English with a writing concentration and now I am putting that passion to good use by writing about my other loves… my family, my mom experiences, my talent for decorating and organization, and my desire to serve others.
I am thankful that I get to do something I love from home, surrounded by the people I love. (The above picture is one of my favorite blog spots… snuggled up on the sofa with “the sheep” (the big white fuzzy blanket) and the computer, while typing to the sounds of a movie talking at me from the TV.)
I am thankful that the blog holds me accountable to doing more hands-on activities with my boys. I can very easily put off doing crafts and activities because I don’t care for the preparation or clean-up of it. So having you all to write and share these activities with, gives me extra motivation in actually doing them.
I am thankful for all you readers. I appreciate your comments and thoughts and feedback. I appreciate knowing you are there to read and share this family’s journey of making over our hearts and our home.
