As much as we love to celebrate our hubbies for being such wonderful dads, Father’s Day is a big deal to our little ones. Dad is their hero. The real life tough guy, their protector, their role model. He’s the one who throws them up on his shoulders when their little feet just can’t go any further. He’s the one playing baseball and soccer with them in the backyard or teaching them how to use a hammer. Dad is a big deal to our kids. And Father’s Day gifts kids can make on their own is a big deal to them too.
Whether you have a little little one that’s gonna need an extra set of hands to guide them or you have independent crafters, both Dad and your kiddos will love these gifts! Remember that sometimes it’s the simplest gifts that mean the most.

One of our favorite things to do every year is to do interview sheets about Dad. I love seeing how our boys’ answers change every year and how they view the guy they call The World’s Greatest Dad! And it’s as simple as you print the sheet, they answer the questions, and Dad beams at the responses! BTW… there is even a free printable for Grandpa here too! And answers about Grandpa are even funnier/cuter!
We all know a way to a guy’s heart is through his stomach. So here’s a few special Father’s Day food ideas to add some flavor to Dad’s day too!
