The holidays are over. The new year is here. And we’ve been snowed in with extremely cold temps. What that means for me is that we can sit back and de-stress a little. All the new toys from Christmas has been given a home. The boys are well entertained with their gifts. And with the snow days keeping us homebound, I haven’t had the craziness of running the boys to preschool and speech so I’ve been able to catch up on house work and get several things checked off my to-do list! Hooray! I have to say its a great feeling!
Unfortunately though, last week’s Welcome Party was a little smaller. I’m figuring my blogging friends were also regrouping from the holidays and getting back into “normal” every day life. Still… there were several good reads and fun activities to do with the kids during these snow days!
With that being said, a big BIG THANK YOU goes to all the wonderful bloggers that linked up for the great posts you’ve shared here! To all my new blogging friends… WELCOME! I’m so excited to have you share with us!
So… what is the Welcome Party Wednesday Link-Up? It’s a place where other fantastic bloggers can come share fun and fresh new ways to makeover your heart and home! In other words… anything that makes family life easier or more fun is what the link-up is all about! Each week I’ll pick 3 must read posts from the previous week’s link-up for you to enjoy!
Posts must be family friendly and can include the topics of…
- Kid’s activities and crafts
- Family fun acitivities
- DIY home projects
(Please do not link giveaways, other link ups, and paid product reviews. I reserve the right to delete any links that do not adhere to this requirement.)
If you link up, please like Makeovers & Motherhood on Facebook and Pinterest and add the Welcome Party Wednesday Link-Up button to your blog so your readers can find us here! You can find the html code in the sidebar.
Googly eyes just make all crafts more fun! Something about them makes me giggle. Craftulate has done a great job of rounding up lots of simple kid crafts to get “googly” about! Plus… check out their Ultimate Guide to 50 Craft Materials Series for more creative crafts!
Okay, so this activity is just cool! Black light is always fun, but combining it with play is even better! So creative (and easy)!
I love that several of these learning activities can be created from everyday household items! Pouring, scooping, sorting… your kids will love it!
Now… let’s party like it’s 2014… mom style!
