Our Welcome Party Wednesday Link-Up is probably my favorite blog day each week. I love reading all the kid activities, parenting tips, DIY projects, and recipes that come across here. Yesterday, I spent the day freezer cooking and used a couple of the recipes that were linked up two weeks ago! I am inspired and challenged by all the posts linked here by the contributing bloggers and for them I am so thankful! I hope you are also finding this as party as a useful resource to add more fun to your home!

I don’t know about you, but with 3 kids, I could always use tips to make our mornings (and our lives) easier! This is the kick-off of their “Simple Steps” series with more great tips to come!
This post really got me. I have really been trying to spend more time playing with the boys and spending time with them. Sure, as a SAHM, we spend lots of time together. But it’s that connection time that’s important. I am so guilty of telling the boys “in just a little bit”, but the moment they’re asking for ends up passing by and they’re on to something else. Today, I was in the middle of doing something, but I specifically put it aside and read to the boys the first time they asked. And it was a beautiful moment!
Simple and fun crafts with a purpose is my kind of kid activity! And something for the birds… the kids will love it! Plus, these can be made year round!
Let’s get this week’s party started!
