What a messy week! Literally! Between the applesauce our littlest guy ground into a sofa cushion, milkshakes dropped in the van, a stinky leaky diaper, plus multiple spills and slops, our week has also been a mess of appointments. I want to just hit pause on life’s remote for a moment rather than pushing the read notification button on my phone’s calendar. It’s reminding me that with the new routines starting with the new school year, that we need to just slow down and be. Rather than being in such a hurry to move on to the next activity and “slop” our way through, we need to make sure to schedule in the most important thing… quality time with our family.
What can you do this week to just “be” with your family? How about trying one of the fantastic family fun activities linked up here?!
I love our Welcome Party Wednesday Link-Up because it is a resource of ideas to help you make each moment count, make family life easier, and add more fun to your life! These other women, moms, and bloggers are sharing their experiences to help us make ours better! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Each week I’ll pick my 3 favorite posts from the previous week’s link-up for you to enjoy! Posts must be family friendly and can include the topics of…
- Kid’s activities and crafts
- Family fun activities
- DIY home projects
(Please do not link giveaways, other link ups, and paid product reviews. I reserve the right to delete any links that do not adhere to this requirement.) If you link up, please…

Mexican food and margaritas are on my “most loved” food list! I’ve only tried making Mexican Rice from a box and it was not worth talking about. I can’t tell you how excited I am to try this recipe though! It will be making an appearance at our table soon!
It’s no surprise that labels help keep you organized. This easy DIY tutorial can help you make labels for anything in your home. This label idea is creative, fun, and since they’re picture labels they’re great for non-readers! Happy organizing!
Even though it’s already underway, I just had to share this because shark week is awesome! And so are the play and learning activities found here!
Let’s get this week’s party started!
