What a fun weekend we had in our home… we celebrated our middle child’s 4th birthday and Mother’s Day! Not only did the weekend bring fun, but
gave us a deadline to some of our landscape projects. We have done this the last 2 years… landscape week right before Dylan’s birthday party. Basically it means a really messy, dirty, scattered house for a week and lots of stress for me, but it is lovely to have it done for the summer! The boys got lots of outdoor playtime and dirt time! While it felt chaotic for me, it was overall a win for us all!
Speaking of win… do you know why I enjoy our Welcome Party Wednesday Link-Ups so much? My blogging friends get to share their activities and stories with you… and you have a resource for home, kids, and family all in one place and can find some of these new-to-you blogs that hopefully you can relate with! It’s a win-win for all!
So let’s get to it…

Okay, so the picture itself has me drooling! I LOVE BBQ! I mean L-O-V-E a good BBQ rib or chicken dinner! Mmmmm! And the recipe for these is super easy! I cannot wait to try it!
Confession: I don’t do science experiments with my boys. Maybe because science was not my thing in school. Maybe because it seems time consuming getting the experiments planned out. I don’t know. But I do know my boys would love it. These 4 Mini Easiest Kitchen Science Activity Trays just might be a good starting point for us!
My boys LOVE playing in the dirt! Even as fussy as I am about dirt, I have to admit that this compost play tray looks like so much fun that even I want to get my hands dirty and have a good time! This is a great way to bring the outdoors inside!
Let’s get the party started!
